I have several favorite numbers. 17 is probably my all time favorite, and it's my Gomer number. What the heck is a Gomer number, you're asking? I'm glad you did. That's why you need to check out the Gomertopia blog. Hosted by Corrine Johnson, aka "Mama Gomer", this is the blog home of Third Day's fan community called the Gomers. Back in 2001 when our online message boards were in their infancy, a group of board members started trying to figure out what to call themselves. The name "Gomer" came up after a song of ours called "Gomers Theme", and also named after the Biblical story of Hosea and Gomer. It has grown into an international phenomenon, and it's to the point that if you start talking about Third Day, the "Gomers" will inevitably come up.
26 is another of my favorite numbers, and so it's appropriate that Corrine's Gomertopia Blog would be number 26. Why? Because she is also massively into Lost and you have to be into numerology to follow the show. OK maybe you don't. Maybe it's a bit of a stretch but it works for me.
Go to Gomertopia to learn about the Gomers and how you can be one. It doesn't involve much, other than picking a name and telling them about it. And it wouldn't hurt to go to a Third Day show. And be sure to wear orange, the official Gomers can see each other at the show color. Everybody's doing it - why not you?

I have NO idea what my Gomer number is! lol

Well, let's see. When you take 26 and 17 and add up the digits, 2+6+1+7 it equals 16. The Gomers started May 8, 2001, and 5 + 8 + 2 + 1 = 16, and LOST is on on Thursday, which has 8 letters, and it's on at 8 Central Time, so 8+8 = 16 again, so there is a connection. And if the survivors of Oceanic 815 had been wearing orange, it would have made them much easier to spot. They might have been rescued much earlier. And I believe I did see a Third Day album among Desmond's collection . . . pushing it too far? LOL
Thanks for including me, Mark!
(For the record, I didn't expect to find any connection here, but they just popping up. Spooky! Ha ha!)

Or number #815, but you probably don't feel like doing 815 Days, 815 Blogs

Well, if she is into LOST, I figured this one would be blog # 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, or 42.
